On the 12th Craft to Christmas...

... I made these snowmen...
Using candles!
My mom liked the snowmen I made previously, but wanted a "roundness" to them.
So here they are. Just swap the wood for a candle!
Merry Christmas!

On the 10th Craft to Christmas...

... I made a Nativity File Folder Game!

Seriously, how cute is this!?!

You can make your own using the Cricut "Paperdolls" cart.

Each piece is laminated and connected using Velcro!

I love this cartridge, you can add a camel, horse angel and a star!
I am thinking super fun FHE night or maybe even a quiet activity to take to church during this Holiday season.

Really want to have one, but do not have the supplies? Check out my Etsy store!

On the 9th Craft to Christmas...

...I etched some dishes for gifts!

Oh, so awesome! I love how these look. They are awesome for wedding gifts, teacher/neighbor gift, etc.

You can even put all the baking supplies with it an give a treat plus a lasting gift.

Supplies:

~Glass Baking dish
~Vinyl Stencil

~Etching Cream (I used Armour Etch)

Easy! Done in 5-10minutes.

Want a stencil? How about the whole finished dish? Go to my Etsy shop!

On the 8th Craft to Christmas...

I made a rustic Stocking Holder

This one is 6X24

You can make this too!

Supplies:

~ 1x6 board cut to 24in

~paint (sand it before and after :) )

~Vinyl lettering (The Stockings were Hung, Merry Christmas, Believe in the Magic of the Season)

~Nails (I used the old fashioned kind to go with the rustic feel, but any will work)

I am showing 7, but that was the max... I recommend no more than 5 on this size of board, though you can increase the size of the board :).

and STOCKINGS!

Get to it!

On the 7th Craft to Christmas...

...I made a temple silhouette!

Wow, this was cool. This is the Spokane WA LDS temple.

I used a scroll saw to make this baby. (and then I sanded and stained it)

This one sits at about 8"x4"

I am thinking I can do any temple. Size may vary a bit, but if you are interested in something like this email me or leave a comment.

On the 6th Craft to Christmas...

...I made a Card Holder.

I like to display my Christmas Cards and usually would do so on a mantle of sorts, but seeing as I do not have one... I made a holder for them.

Simple.

Supplies

~1X4 cut to desired length (mine is at 18in)

~Paint

~Vinyl Saying (God Bless us Everyone or Glad Tidings of Great Joy)

~ Ribbon to match paint (I have 6 on mine, but any amount would be fine

~ Adhesive to attach ribbon (Mine is taped now, I might want to change the ribbon)

Super easy!

Need some vinyl or wood for this? Go to my Etsy shop!

On the 5th Craft to Christmas...

...I made this!

I love how whimsical it turned out!

Supplies:

~6x18 frame (shown in white)

~ Vinyl Image

~hot glue gun

To only show the glass in the frame, remove the backing and with pliars remove the metal tabs which hold the backing on. Use common sense and caution when pulling them out :) Run a bead of hot glue along the edges of the glass while in place to secure it in the frame.

Don't want to make it on your own?

Go to my Etsy shop!

Only want the vinyl? ETSY!

On the 4th Craft to Christmas...

I made my own candlesticks!

I love how chunky and tall they are.

Want to make your own?

Supplies:

~4x4 lumber (usually comes in 12ft) = lots of candle sticks

-cut these down to desired height (mine are 15, 12 and 10 inches)

~2 post bases/ candlestick (or if you have the extra's use 4.5x4.5 squares)

-the bases can be as simple or as decorative as you wish...play around and have fun.

~paint

Using your personal choice of nail, screw or extra tough adhesive attach the squares/bases to each end of the 4x4

Paint (sand a bit for character) and Voila! you have yourself customized candlesticks.

I am thinking of even cutting some to 24, 20 and 18in to have on the floor.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
How wonderfully blessed we are!

On the 3rd Craft to Christmas...

...I made a Monogram Frame (this one in particular is a bow holder)

This was super easy and fun!

Supplies:

~1 frame (mine is 4x6 and I painted it black, but choose your fav. color)

~Vinyl monogram (mine is from the "Storybook" cart. from Cricut)

~staple gun

~ribbon to match (length can vary depending on your needs)

~decorative gem to use as a weight on the bottom of each ribbon (not necessary for all ribbons)

~hot glue gun

To only show the glass in the frame, remove the backing and with pliers remove the metal tabs which hold the backing on. Use common sense and caution when pulling them out :) Run a bead of hot glue along the edges of the glass while in place to secure it in the frame.

Have fun!

Remember, this does not have to be a bow holder and could be a larger frame as well. The vinyl also could be a solid color, the possibilities are endless!

Don't want to make it yourself? Comment here to let me know what you would like and I can customize it for you.
Only need vinyl? I can do that too!
Since these are customized font and lettering, comment on this post and then I will make your custom order available on etsy!
